Rodeo Arena
The Rodeo Arena (the showcase for the world famous Ellensburg Rodeo) also accommodates a variety of high school and college rodeos, equine breed shows, roping and penning competitions and points barrel races. Full facilities are available with the rental of the arena and include: seating for over 9000 patrons; judge's and announcer's booths; concessionaire hookups; bull, calf, and horse pens; calf and bull chutes and appropriate holding areas. Additional amenities include: ticket offices, restroom and shower facilities, RV hookups, contestant parking and camping areas, barns and stock pens, and Behind the Chutes, an indoor/outdoor dance and beer hall.
Physical description: Gross interior area without track: 328' x 179' (58,712 square feet); split arena: 164' x 179'.
Rental package includes house PA system, north and NW Grandstands only, arena work-up, interior perimeter fencing, two (2) tables, Bucking and Roping chutes; four (4) chairs if needed.
Additional fixtures (additional tables, pens, stalls) are available at an additional fee. Rodeo Arena area open at 7 AM and closes 10 PM, May through October. Earlier times are available upon request.
Whether a small or large event, there is plenty of parking adjacent to the arena and North RV Lot. (See RV Rental Fees)
