  • Including materials that will eventually be composted or recycled the average resident in Kittitas County produced 8.3 pounds of waste/garbage in 2007.
  • Only 66% of adults in Kittitas County saw a dentist in the previous 12 months.
  • 2010 will be the 8th year of the Teens Against Tobacco Use program in Kittitas County. Over the last seven years, teen peer educators have presented to 2,798 elementary students regarding the dangers of tobacco.
