Special event permits
A special event is defined by
the International Fire Code as a carnival, fair, circus, exhibit or
trade show, or any other type of public exhibition. These events
shall require a permit from the Fire Marshal's Office, in addition to
any other required county permits.
A Fire Marshal's Event/Assembly permits application must meet the
following requirements:
- A completed application.
- A site plan.
- Indoor events must include a floor plan.
- Submitted to the Fire Marshal's office a minimum of 14 day
prior to the scheduled event.
The Fire Marshal Event/Assembly permits application is an
application for 2 separate permits:
- Fire Marshal Event Permit
- Fire Marshal Assembly Occupancy Permit
