Open space taxation is complex and it is difficult to speak to individual situations when addressing a group. The horse issues are especially complex and the Kittitas County Assessor's office welcomes individuals to call or come in to the office to talk about their specific circumstances. This brochure answers basic questions about the intent of open space tax law and specific economic thresholds for smaller agricultural properties.
