NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Kittitas County will be holding a public hearing on the Swauk Wind Project Development Agreement (DA-12-00001) submitted by Alex Cordas, authorized agent for Swauk Valley Ranch LLC, property owners.  The Development Agreement for the Swauk Wind Farm is to develop a wind energy facility with a maximum of 5 wind turbines and Project support facilities necessary to generate and deliver renewable energy to point of interconnection with a nearby Puget Sound Energy local distribution line for distribution within Puget Sound Energy's Kittitas County service area.  The Swauk Wind Power Project is located at 18511 Highway 10, Ellensburg, WA in a portion of Section 18, T19N, R17E, WM, in Kittitas County, Assessor's map number 19-17-18000-0001.

 

An open record hearing will be held before the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners on June 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., Commissioners' Auditorium, Kittitas County Courthouse in accordance with KCC 15A.11 and 17.61A.040.  The Board of County Commissioners at said public hearing will consider written and oral testimony.  Interested persons are encouraged to attend.

 

The Board of County Commissioners may continue the public hearing to a specific date and time where they will review the record, deliberate and make a final decision on this permit application.  Those hearings will take place at a later date to be determined by the BOCC.
