The 2012-2017 Six Year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) was approved by the Board of Commissioners on October 4, 2011 by Resolution No. 2011-095. This requested amendment is to add four new projects that Public Works determined are eligible for Rural Arterial Program (RAP) grant funds.&nbsp; These projects include: No. 6 Rd from Vantage Hwy to Kittitas Hwy, Naneum Rd from Vantage Hwy to Lyons Rd, all of Alford Rd, and Brick Mill Rd from Fairview Rd to No. 81 Rd.&nbsp; A fifth project, the southernmost 1.5 miles of No. 6 Rd, is also being submitted for RAP funds but is already included in the TIP.<br />

The RAP program is administered by the County Road Administration Board (CRAB).&nbsp; CRAB requires that counties include the projects submitted for RAP funds in their TIPs.&nbsp; 
<p>According to&nbsp;publishing requirements under RCW 36.32.120(7),&nbsp;a copy of the proposed ordinance can be viewed at the County Auditor's Office, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, Washington.</p>
