The 2012-2017 Six Year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) was approved by the Board of Commissioners on October 4, 2011 by Resolution No. 2011-095. This requested amendment is to add four new projects that Public Works determined are eligible for Rural Arterial Program (RAP) grant funds.  These projects include: No. 6 Rd from Vantage Hwy to Kittitas Hwy, Naneum Rd from Vantage Hwy to Lyons Rd, all of Alford Rd, and Brick Mill Rd from Fairview Rd to No. 81 Rd.  A fifth project, the southernmost 1.5 miles of No. 6 Rd, is also being submitted for RAP funds but is already included in the TIP.

The RAP program is administered by the County Road Administration Board (CRAB).  CRAB requires that counties include the projects submitted for RAP funds in their TIPs.

According to publishing requirements under RCW 36.32.120(7), a copy of the proposed ordinance can be viewed at the County Auditor's Office, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, Washington.
