The purpose of the Public Hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligble uses of the State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low-and moderate-income persons and persons residing in Kittitas County. 

Up to $55,483.00 will be available to Kittitas County and HopeSource to fund public service activities that principally benefit low-and moderate-income persons.

The proposed public service activitites will be available for review at HopeSource 700 E. Mountainview Ave. Suite 501 Ellensburg, WA during regular business hours.  Written comments may also be submitted to Kittitas County up until the public hearing on May 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
Comments on the County's and community action agency's past performance and use of their 2010 CDBG Public Services Grant awards will also be received.

The Kittitas County Commissioners Auditorium is handicap accessible.
