Engineering, Construction Management, and Surveying Services are required for a variety of projects.  They include, but are not necessarily limited to, the areas of Roads, Airports, Parks and Storm Water Drainage.  Specific project information will become available as the various projects are scheduled throughout the year.

Consultants who are interested in providing services are required to submit Statements of Qualifications and performance data accompanied by a completed Consultant Questionnaire identifying the area(s) of expertise.  The questionnaire forms are available on line at:                                http://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/publicworks/administration/consultant.asp and upon request from Kittitas County Department of Public Works, 411 North Ruby Suite #1, Ellensburg, Washington, 98926, (509) 962-7523.  This information will be retained in the department's files.  The consultant(s) to be considered will be selected from the list of consultants on file or from responses to advertisements for consulting services for a specific project.

County procedures and guidelines are to include a plan to ensure that women, minority and veteran-owned firms have the maximum opportunity to compete for the contract.  The level of women, minority and veteran-owned firm participation should be consistent with their availability within the relevant professional community.

Firms are encouraged to submit annually a statement of qualifications and performance data.

In the procurement of architectural and engineering services, Kittitas County shall evaluate current statements of qualifications and performance data on file with the agency,together with those that may be submitted by other firms regarding the proposed project, and shall conduct discussions with one or more firms regarding anticipated concepts and the relative utility of alternative methods of approach for furnishing the required services and then shall select therefrom, based upon criteria established by the agency, the firm deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required for the proposed project.
