Kittitas County, Ellensburg WA

The Kittitas County/Bowers Field Airport is requesting interested firms to submit their qualifications for Architectural services to complete design of the Helicopter Maintenance and Repair Facility for Kittitas County. The scope of the design will be siginificantly based upon an approved Pre-Design Report completed in June of 2010 and will be available unpon request. Proposed project development includes two new hangers with support spaces, shop, parts, etc,. within a single building; and conceptually three separate buildings to house helicopter parts that are currently stored in other locations across the United States. Site enhancements include secure parking and airside access, paved storage, taxiway and apron surfaces, utilities and landscaping. This project is anticipated to be funded through a bond sale. Kittitas County anticipates a total project design cost of $295,000, with the project to commence on or after January 1, 2011. It is Kittitas County's desire to have selected a consultant by that time so that work can begin as soon as the funds are available.
