Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan
COMPLIANCE WITH Growth Management Act
Pursuant to RCW 36.70A, notice is hereby given that the Kittitas Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing to consider the Planning Commission's recommendations addressing findings of the Eastern Washington Growth Management Hearings Board, which issued an order of non-compliance with the Growth Management Act (GMA) and a determination of invalidity of the Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan, remanding the Plan to the County for revisions. The public hearing date is scheduled for October 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Kittitas County Courthouse, Commissioners' Auditorium Room 109, 205 West 5th Avenue, Ellensburg, WA 98926. The Board of County Commissioners may make a final decision upon close of the public hearings or continue the public hearing to a specific date and time for review of the record, and deliberation and decision. Verbal testimony will be accepted during all hearings. Written comments may be submitted to Community Development Services during regular business hours and during the scheduled hearings.
