On August 11, 2010 the Kittitas County Board of Adjustment approved Conditional Use Permit for the Teanaway Solar Reserve, a 477-acre solar farm on an 892-acre site on Cle Elum Ridge. As a condition of approval, the Board of Adjustment required the applicant to enter into a Development Agreement with the County.
