An application has been submitted, located west of the City of Cle Elum of near Exit 74 off of Interstate 90 , in a portion of Section 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, T20N, R14E, WM in Kittitas County to change the current zoning from Rural Recreation & Rural 5 to Planned Unit Development.  This proposal is for 58 recreational home or cabin sites, RV storage, open space areas, non-motorized parks and outdoor and/or indoor recreation to be developed in multiple stages/phases.  There will be no project construction within 200 feet of OHWMs of Big Creek or Little Creek.

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that an closed record public hearing regarding the above application shall be held before the Kittitas County Hearing Examiner on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County Courthouse Auditorium, Ellensburg, WA. 98926.  Anyone with an interest in this matter is urged to attend said hearing where testimony will be taken.  Written comments will be received and documents may be viewed at Kittitas County Community Development Services 411 North Ruby, Suite 2 Ellensburg, WA 98926 prior to the hearing.  Interested persons are encouraged to verify meeting prior to attending.

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that pursuant to WAC 197-11-340, Kittitas County Community Development Services did on, July 16, 2016, issue a Final Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) on a project action from D K Professionals for a Rezone to change current zoning from Rural Recreation & Rural 5 to Planned Unit Development.

 

The lead agency for this proposal, Kittitas County Community Development Services, has determined that the proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment.  An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2)(c) and WAC 197-11.  This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency.

 

A Notice of Application and intent to utilize the optional DNS process was issued and published in the legal newspaper of record on October 15, 2015 establishing a 30 day comment period for all interested persons, parties, and agencies. As per WAC 197-11-340 & 390 the lead agency is issuing the Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) for this proposal.
