Kittitas County, Ellensburg WA
On September 16, 2014 at 6:00 pm the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at the County Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, Ellensburg, WA to record public comment upon the updated version of the Kittitas County Shoreline Master Program as required within the RCW 90.58. The Shoreline Master Program provides goals, objectives, policies and regulations designed to manage and protect the State’s Shorelines of Statewide Significance as identified by the Department of Ecology. The area regulated under the Program includes lands within two hundred feet of the designated shorelines.
The Board may make a final decision on the proposal upon closing of the public hearings or continue the hearing to specific dates and times for review of the record and/or deliberation. Verbal and written testimony will be accepted prior and during the hearing. Written comments may be submitted during regular business hours for inclusion in the record at: Kittitas County Community Development Services (CDS), 411 N. Ruby, Ellensburg, WA 98926.
