


Get InvolvedKittitas County and the Cities of Ellensburg, Cle Elum, and the Town of South Cle Elum recognize that a successful regional Shoreline Master Program update process, resulting in an independent Shoreline Master Program for each jurisdiction, depends on the early and continuous participation of the public. Ways to ParticipateYou can get involved and participate in a variety of ways. Your comments and responses will be used to set goals and strategies for the updated SMPs and to ensure community visions are achieved consistent with state law and guidelines.
Throughout the process there will be several opportunities to engage in review and discussion of the regional SMP. Two standing committees will be convened to assist in the Regional SMP update:
Check the Meetings | Materials page for details on upcoming events or to download materials from current or past meetings. Members of the public may attend the meetings and address the Committee with their thoughts and ideas. Up to ten minutes will be provided at the beginning of each meeting for public comment. The public is also encouraged to submit written comments. |
