Project Goals
What's the purpose?
The purpose of the project is to:
- Identify how County subareas—Easton, Ronald, Snoqualmie Pass, Thorp, and Vantage—should grow in the future
- Consider urban or rural land use designations for the five subareas
- Review the City of Kittitas Urban Growth Area boundary
- Update criteria for identifying agricultural and forest lands
- Provide opportunities for public participation
- Meet requirements of the Growth Management Act (GMA)
