Notice of Voter Registration Deadlines
Notice is hereby given that the following dates and deadlines apply to the
upcoming Special Elections, to be held February 9, 2010:
January 11, 2010
Voter registration files for the following Districts: Hospital District 2,
School Districts #28, #119, #400, #401, #403, #404- will be closed against
original and transfer of voter registrations- 29 days prior to the Special
Election.
February 1, 2010
In-person registration for qualified electors (new registrants within the state)
may register to vote, in person at the office of the Kittitas County Auditor up
to 8 days prior to the Special election.
Registration and voting aides are available for the elderly, disabled, or any
one that requests additional assistance. ADA compliant voting equipment is
available for use- Monday thru Friday, in the Election Control Center, Room 103,
beginning Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 from 9am to 5pm, and on Election Day,
February 9th, from 7am to 8pm.
